Our hand-beaded products are crafted with delicate detail by our artisan partners in Rwanda who stitch glass and locally-sourced beads onto handwoven vases, baskets, and bucket bags using a needle and thread. Historically Rwandan Kings wore beaded crowns as symbols of their wealth and prosperity. Now a tradition in villages across Rwanda, the beading process can span more than a month of incredibly precise and patient handwork. Small batch production means no two beaded Indego pieces are exactly the same.
